Thomas 'Tom' A. York

Thomas ‘Tom’ A. York, age 69, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, formerly of St. Francisville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 05, 2020 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born on November 11, 1951 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Paul ‘Rudy’ A. and Geraldine ‘Gerry’ (Pierson) York.

Tom was an oil field worker. He loved fishing and dogs.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one nephew, Jarrad Paul Stout.

Survivors include one brother, Tim York of St. Francisville, Illinois; one sister, Rebecca Stout and husband, Danny of Sumner, Illinois; one nephew; one niece; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and one great-step-nephew.

A public graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 08, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
