Thomas L. Littlejohn

Thomas L. Littlejohn, age 76, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 20, 1935 in Eaton, IL the son of Theodore Roosevelt Littlejohn and Cora Irene (Melton) Littlejohn. He married Dora Spencer August 9, 1953 and she passed away January 9, 1982. Thomas was a member of the Free Methodist Church in St. Francisville. He worked at Stave Saw Mill in Flat Rock for 30+ years. Survivors include four sons Teddy Littlejohn of Paris, IL, Jimmy Littlejohn of Collinsville, IL, Don Littlejohn of Lawrenceville and Sammy Littlejohn of Princeton, IN; seven daughters Dora Hutchinson and Polly Shaw both of Lawrenceville, Cora Richardson of Lakeland, FL, Doris Fitch of Auburndale, FL, Katie Smirnes of Allendale, IL, Georgia Cessna of Washington, IN and Laura York of Oblong, IL; one brother Robert Littlejohn of Annapolis, IL; three sisters Vivian Draper, Bonnie Burtron and Margaret Littlejohn all of Robinson, IL, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by one son Thomas, two daughters Marjorie McKendree and Virginia Budd, one brother James, and one sister Cora Berry. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in St. Francisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
