Ruth Rosemary Rosborough Wilzbacher

Ruth Rosemary Rosborough Wilzbacher, age 94, of Olney, Illinois, formerly of Sumner, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on April 07, 1926 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Wilbur and Daisy (Smith) Robinson. She married Robert ‘Bob’ D. Rosborough on March 21, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 06, 1996. She then married John Wilzbacher and he preceded her in death on October 08, 2015.

Ruth was a homemaker. She enjoyed being with her family, playing word games and cards, sewing, and cooking. She loved to sing and dance as well. She was a member of the Sumner United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Bob Rosborough and John Wilzbacher; one son, Steve Rosborough; two grandsons, Kevin Kimmel and Kyle Waldrop; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Kimmel and husband, Dennis and Barbie Waldrop and husband, Bub all of Sumner, Illinois; one sister, Pat McWilliams of Olney, Illinois; five grandchildren, Sonja Music of Olney, Illinois, Sherry Harmon of Teutopolis, Illinois, Spencer Rosborough of Portland, Oregon, Jeff Waldrop of Sumner, Illinois, and Brady Waldrop of Sumner, Illinois; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be conducted. Burial will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brookstone Estates Assisted Living of Olney.
