Roger Kiser, Sr. Obituary

Roger D. Kiser, Sr., age 59, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, February 03, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on May 22, 1961 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of LaVern Arthur and Thelma Irene (Jackman) Kiser. He married Pamela Thompson on June 07, 1980, and they were married for 40 years.

Roger worked for Toyota TMMI in Princeton, Indiana for 20 years. He was a member of the Rod & Gun Club. He loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family, friends, and coworkers. He never met a stranger, and his family and friends will remember him as a kind, gentle, and caring person.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Pam; three children, Roger Kiser II and wife, Katie and their children, Roger ‘Daniel’ III and Aiden Kiser of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Chad Kiser and wife, Amanda and their children, Gavin and Jaxson Kiser of Vincennes, Indiana, and Casey Kiser and her children, Mickelle and Breanna Waterbury, Faith and Julia Campbell, and Kingston Darrett of Evansville, Indiana; nine siblings, Becky Fielden of Olney, Illinois, James Kiser and wife, Suzanne of Bridgeport, Illinois, William ‘Bill’ Kiser wife, Sandy of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Janet Botkin and husband, Jerry of Geff, Illinois, Robert Kiser and wife, Carol of Scotland, Indiana, Richard Kiser of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Kenny Kiser of Indianapolis, Indiana, Judy Kopp of Vincennes, Indiana, and Lewis Kiser and wife, Lisa of Lawrenceville, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at 11:00 AM CST at Central Christian Church, 303 Buchanan Drive, Lawrenceville, IL 62439, and may be viewed with the following link: https://www.facebook.com/emmonsmaceysteffey. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at the church. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
