Robert A. Volkman, Jr., age 70, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on March 10, 1951 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Robert A. Volkman, Sr. and Mary Katherine (Ralston) Volkman.

Robert was a musician. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, working on cars, and playing in his musical band.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Linda McCullough.

Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Volkman III of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Danny Leroy Volkman and wife, Rudi of Texas; one daughter, Tonya C. Volkman and boyfriend, Jimmy Wells of Lawrenceville, Illinois; friend, Donna Volkman of Lawrenceville, Illinois; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no formal services. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
