Patty Yvonne Volkman, age 84, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born January 22, 1935 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Stella (Yarber) Condiff. She married Victor Volkman in September 1950 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2009.
Patty was a homemaker and a member of the Lawrenceville Free Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Margie Walls and Nancy Wimberly; and one grandson, Bradley Volkman.
Survivors include two sons, Victor Volkman and wife, Patricia of St. Francisville, Illinois and Roger Volkman and wife, Rita, of Chauncey, Illinois; one daughter, Veronica Kirkwood and husband, Jerry, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one brother, Chuck Condiff and his wife, Patty Ann, of St. Francisville, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be conducted. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
A public gathering will be announced at a later date.
The Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
