Patricia Lee White

Patricia Lee White, age 79, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on February 19, 1940 in Bridgeport, Illinois, the daughter of Jay Thomas and Mary M. (Moore) Burchett. She married Kenneth White on March 26, 1950 and he survives.

Patricia worked at Lawrenceville Industries. She helped operate St. Vincent de Paul Society for the St. Lawrence Catholic Church Parish, as well as oversee the annual Christmas baskets for the homebound. She was a wonderful homemaker, and enjoyed delivering her baked goods to local businesses. She also enjoyed country music. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Kathy Gehlken, Gloria Coonce, and Norma Perrott; and one son, Ronnie White.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; four children, Terry Williams of Bloomington, Illinois, Rita Volkman and husband, Roger of Chauncey, Illinois, Kevin White of Fairfield, Illinois, and Peggy Brinkman and husband, Brent of Sumner, Illinois; one sister, Dixie Perrin of Madison, Florida; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois, with a rosary prayer to be conducted prior to the service at 11:45 AM. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the church. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
