Nina B. Wolfe

Nina B. (Wise) Montgomery Wolfe, 87, of Lawrenceville passed away Sunday November 22, 2009 at Lawrence County memorial Hospital.She was born June 27, 1922 in St. Francisville, IL the daughter of Charles and Katie (Schultz) Wise.  She was first married to Raymond Earl Montgomery. He preceded her in death. She then married Woodrow Wolfe. He also preceded her in death.She is survived by 1 son: Virgil Moyes of Lawrenceville, IL, 2 daughters: Nina R. Baetke of Princeton, IA, Ellysa Meyerholz of Pana, IL, 6 step-children, a half-sister: Sarah Mason of Vincennes, IN, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren,  and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra kay Moyes, and a step-child.Nina worked at the United Methodist Village in laundry. She also cleaned houses. During WWII, she worked as a Rosie The Riveter, welding in the ship yards. She was a member of the Wesleyan Chruch on Fourth Street in Lawrenceville. She was a member of the Ding-a-lings.The funeral will be Friday at 11:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with burial to follow at May Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 until the service hour of 11:00am on Friday.Memorial doantions may be given to the Fourth Street Wesleyan Church.
