Mildred McBride, 74, formally of Lawrenceville, IL. passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in German Valley, IL. She was born February 28, 1939 in Vincennes, Indiana to Oscar Edward Sanders and Audie Mae (Rose) Sanders. She married Joe McBride on January 12, 1985 and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2004.
Mildred work as a LP nurse for 29.5 years at various hospitals and doctors office's. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the American Legion Post Auxiliary in Lawrenceville, IL., and a member of the Mt.
Carmel Eagles.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one infant daughter; Brenda Jones, one brother; Oliver Woodrow Sanders, one infant sister; Elnora Sanders, and son-in-law; Steve Land.
Survivors include her daughters Kay (Paul) Schultz of German Valley, IL. , Terri Land of Lawrenceville, IL., eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mildred will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 12 Noon until the service time.
Burial will be at May Chapel Cemetery.
