Mary Raggo Cochran

Mary Raggo Cochran, age 85, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by family. She was born in Noble, Illinois on December 21, 1936, the daughter of Norman and Evelyn Lucille (Hinkel) Stine. She married Donald Raggo on December 08, 1957.

For many years Mary and Donald owned and operated Raggo Printing in Lawrenceville, Illinois. After Donald passed away on June 03, 1992, Mary remarried Don Cochran, and the two of them enjoyed retirement together, until he passed away on December 01, 2014. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dogs, Soffie and Harley.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Donald Raggo and Don Cochran; one brother, William Stine; and one daughter-in-law, Beth Raggo.

Survivors include two sons, Steven (Barbara) Raggo of Warrenton, Virgina and Alan Raggo of Vincennes; one daughter, Tabora (Glenn) Bobe of Atlanta, Georgia; one step-son Danny (Kathy) Cochran; two step-daughters, Lou (Cliff) Duncan and Lisa (Scott) Lackey; seven grandchildren, Brenda (James) Sapanghila, Diane Raggo, Cynthia Raggo, Erin (Jeremy) Brewer, April (James) Kaiser, Annelise Bobe, and Henry Bobe; seven great-grandchildren, Archer, Maddox, and Oliver Sapanghila; Jadelyn and Jaycie, Brewer; and Mackenzie and Lucas Kaiser; one brother, Larry (Deborah) Stine; and one sister, Evelyn (Edward) Keil. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

A celebration of life will be conducted on Friday, February 04, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois, and may be viewed with the following link: https://www.facebook.com/emmonsmaceysteffey. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
