Mary Jones Obituary

Mary E. Jones, age 57, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her residence. She was born on August 04, 1963 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter Henry and Elizabeth Davis. She married Max Jones and he preceded her in death.

Mary sold produce, worked at the nursing home in Bridgeport, and cleaned trailers for Hal Hicks. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville and the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. She was a member of the Eagles in Lawrenceville.

Preceding her in death was her husband and one daughter, Gladys Jones.

Survivors include her parents of Lukin Township, Illinois; one daughter, Ruby Jones and companion, George Stevens of Bridgeport, Illinois; two brothers; five grandchildren, Max, Leland, Joshua, Zoey, and Emma; and special friends, Mia Ketron of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Judy Marshall of Bridgeport, Illinois.

The body will be cremated and no services will be conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
