M Diane Davis

Margaret Diane Davis, 57, of rural Sumner, IL passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. Born October 20, 1952 in Lawrenceville, IL she was the daughter of John W. and Margaret V. (Jones) Sumner. She married Dale Davis October 23, 1970 and he survives. Diane was a beautician and owned a beauty shop in Sumner.She was preceded in death by her parents.Survivors include her husband Dale of rural Sumner; one son J.C and his wife Michelle of Evansville, IN; one brother John W. (Kim) Sumner of rural Lawrenceville; three sisters Barbara Sumner of Lawrenceville, Chris Flanders of Sumner and Judy (Jerry) Atkins of rural Lawrenceville; and two grandchildren Blake and Marcus Davis of Evansville, IN; nieces and nephews Tarita Siler of Robinson, Paul Baltzell of Indianapolis, IN, Bobbi Jo Flanders of Olney, Kati and Cole Sumner of Lawrenceville.The funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Monday, April 5 , 2010 at Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner. Burial will follow in the Sumner Cemetery.Friends may call from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
