Linda K. Davis

Linda K. Davis, age 80, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, December 09, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 11, 1941 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Hayward Lawrence and Marie K. (Reel) Gregory. She married Larry R. Davis on June 21, 1959 at the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, and he survives.

Linda worked in the billing department at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, as a school bus driver for Unit #10 for 28 years, and as a bookkeeper for Gregory Gravel. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport and the United Methodist Women.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; six children, Greg and Janet Davis of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Sandra and Henry Kelly of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Glenda Davis of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Scott and Angie Davis of Bridgeport, Illinois, Cindy and Terry Greentree of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Cheri and Kelly Spahn of Bridgeport, Illinois; one sister, Barbara Copp and husband, Richard of Highland, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Ashli and Ryan Wesley, Ryan Davis, Staci and Josh Millman, Matthew and Melissa Potts, Kyle Davis, Kara and Cole Gosnell, Brandon and Nathan Blackwell, Taylor and Riley Greentree, and Dalton Spahn; and six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, and Addison Wesley, S.J. and Eleanor Potts, and Capri Gosnell.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.
