Lee Edward ‘Ed’ Mefford, age 75, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on May 08, 1947 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Donald Lee Mefford and Juanita (Bragdon) Serio.
Ed worked at Arc Welding in Vincennes, as a Forest Ranger in Florida, and owned Twin State Suzuki Motorcycle Shop with his brother, Mike. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bridgeport. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, target shooting, and riding his ATV.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Paul Mefford.
Survivors include two brothers, Mike Mefford and wife, Jo Ellen and Roger Mefford all of Lawrenceville, Illinois and two sisters, Anita Perch of Fort Myers, Florida and Joyce Pounds of Sebastian, Florida.
Private services will be conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
