Kelvin Wayne Hipsher

Kelvin Wayne Hipsher, age 57, of Olney, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at his residence. He was born June 12, 1957, in Lawrenceville, Illinois the son of Arthur and Romell (Houser) Hipsher. Kelvin worked as a general laborer in the oilfield. Preceding Kelvin in death were his father Arthur Hipsher and his maternal grandparents Wilbur and Opal Houser. Survivors include his mother, Romell Hipsher of Bridgeport,IL; a son, Kelton Beau Hipsher (fiancé Rachel Gard)of Lawrenceville,IL; two daughters Heather Boughan (Chad) of rural Claremont,IL; and Haylee Bussard (Austin) of rural Sumner, IL; one sister, Lori Thacker of Bridgeport,IL; six grandchildren, Emily, Mason and Kyle Boughan, Ashton Yarber, Kelton Hipsher, Ruby Bussard. Memorial service will be Wednesday evening 7:00 p.m. at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner,IL. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00p.m. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the Lawrence Co. Humane Society.
