Karen Jane Mickler

Karen Jane Mickler, age 74, of Flat Rock, Illinois passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born on June 20, 1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of George and Zelphi (Auterson) Dudley. She married Michael Mickler on February 02, 1997, and he survives.

Karen worked for Pfizer in Terre Haute, and then became a homemaker.

Preceding her in death her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Mike; four children, Tammy Parker, Mike Parker and wife, Beth, Doug Parker all of West Terre Haute, Indiana, and Kenneth James Parker of Palestine, Illinois; two brothers, George Dudley of Kansas and Paul Dudley of Terre Haute, Indiana; one sister, Edna Sharp of Brazil, Indiana; several grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

There will be no services conducted. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
