Joshua Andrew Kocher

Joshua Andrew Kocher, age 13, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on September 06, 2006 in Robinson, Illinois, the son of Andrew Kocher and Lori (Morgan) Kocher.

Josh was a 7th grade student at Parkview Junior High School. His hobbies included playing Xbox, fishing, spending time with his brothers, riding 4-wheelers with his father, and running track.

Survivors include his father, Andrew Kocher and wife, Gwen of Evansville, Indiana; mother, Lori Kocher of Lawrenceville, Illinois; four brothers, Christopher Russell of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Joey Cummins of Lawrenceville, Illinois, William Johnson of Evansville, Indiana, and Chase McKinney of Francisco, Indiana; two sisters, Montanna Kocher of St. Petersburg, Florida and Teresa Johnson of Henderson, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, John and Phyllis Kocher of Lawrenceville, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Morgan of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and three nephews, Zylas Russell, J.T. Cummins, and Grayson Cummins.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. The service will be private, but will be available for viewing at 1:00 PM on the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home Burial & Cremation Services Facebook page, which can be found with the following link: https://www.facebook.com/Emmons-Macey-Steffey-Funeral-Home-Burial-Cremation-Services-241234759332208/. Extended family and friends are invited to a drive through visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in honor of Josh and his family. Please approach the funeral home from south 12th Street, and you will be directed by the staff to pass through under the awning. Burial will be in the Petty Cemetery.
