John R. Dasch, 87, of Vincennes, Indiana (formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Monday January 20, 2025 at Bridgepointe Health Campus in Vincennes, Indiana.
He was born August 7, 1937 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Robert E. and Goldie (Lucas) Dasch. On November 28, 1959 he married Marjorie Kroeger. She preceded him in death on June 13, 1996.
John worked at the Texaco Refinery in Lawrenceville, Illinois and also worked for Sid Siddens at Maeco. He served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, the Elks, and the Eagles. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing, tennis, fishing and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.
Surviving are a son, Robert K. Dasch of Carmel, Indiana; and a sister, Katie Goff and her husband Sherman of Lawrenceville, Illinois.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM CST at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
