Jeanie Rosborough

Jeanie Rosborough, 84, of Sumner, Illinois passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at Helia Healthcare in Olney, Illinois.

She was born May 14, 1938 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Louie and Mildred (Waggoner) Conover. On June 10, 1956 she married Wilvin Eugene Rosborough. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1999.

Jeanie was a farmwife. She also ran her own craft shop, where she designed wedding décor, flowers and ceramics. She helped with décor and worked every day with her brother at the Trace Inn at Red Hills State Park for several years. She also worked at Lawrence County Ace Hardware in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

She is survived by two sons: Greg Rosborough and his wife, Paula of Sumner Illinois and Brent Rosborough of St. Louis, Missouri; a daughter: Marty Webster of Indianapolis, Indiana; four sisters: Mary Roney of Sumner, Illinois, Esther Hesler of Sumner, Illinois, Linda Koertge of Chauncey, Illinois and Shirley White of Hanover, Illinois; a brother: Johnny Conover and wife, Kim of Sumner, Illinois; Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren: Jesse W. Rosborough and wife, Ashley and their children, Owen and Ava, Hope Western and husband, JT and their daughter Mia, Jamie Rosborough and significant other, Steve Orange and their children, Riley and Remi, Ashley Rosborough and husband, Tim Endicott, Dustin Rosborough and wife, Hailey, Traci Tiscareno and her children, Austin, Blake and Kailani, and Travis Webster; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be conducted Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00am at the Waggoner Cemetery in Chauncey, Illinois. There will be no visitation. The Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
