Geraldine ‘Gerri’ L. Good

Geraldine ‘Gerri’ L. Good, age 76, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on July 03, 1945 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of William W. and Bernice (Teets) Abbott.

Gerri was the office manager for Wayne Wiles Floor Coverings in Fort Myers, Florida. She was a member of the Rising Sun Christian Church and Prairie Maids. She enjoyed gardening and flowering, but her greatest love of all was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include three children, Rod Hoalt of Russellville, Illinois, Patrick Hoalt and wife, Dawn of Fort Myers, Florida, and Laura Ellis and husband, Chris of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Janet Barter and husband, Marc of Fort Myers, Florida; five grandchildren, Autumn Hoalt, Trevor Hoalt, Chase Ellis, Grace Ellis, and Caylin Ellis; and three great-grandchildren, Rainy Hilderbrand, Miles Hilderbrand, and Aywen Hilderbrand.

There will be no formal services conducted. Memorial donations may be made to Rising Sun Christian Church or Good Samaritan Hospice. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
