Eunice 'Peggy' A. Little

Eunice ‘Peggy’ A. Little, age 99, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, August 08, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on January 25, 1922 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Robert Roy and Nellie D. (Dixon) Tewell.

Peggy was a graduate of Vincennes Business College, and worked at Texaco for 33 years in various office roles. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers; and two sons-in-law, Jim Staniforth and Bob Tracy.

Survivors include two daughters, Tonya Staniforth and Brenda Tracy both of Lawrenceville, Illinois; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM CDT at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
