Earl C. Riester

Earl C. Riester, age 68, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

He was born on June 02, 1952 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Earl V. and Rosalie (Winters) Riester.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Earl retired from Mac Steel in Nashville, Tennessee. His memberships included the United Methodist Church, Edward Robbins Masonic Lodge and the ELKS. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing sports. He was also very fond of his cats.

Survivors include his sisters, Roseann Perry and husband, Mike of Vincennes, Indiana and Sylvia Moyes and husband, Jim of St. Francisville, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Joshua Moyes, Erin Shaffer, David Perry, Kim Taylor, and Tim Perry; and 13 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:00PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois and may be viewed with the following link: https://www.facebook.com/emmonsmaceysteffey. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 10:00am. Visitation is also Wednesday from 10:00am until the service time of 12:00PM. Burial will be at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
