David C. Williams, 89, of Chesterton, IN (formerly of Lawrenceville, IL) passed away Monday July 14, 2014 at his residence.
He was born November 23, 1924 in Bridgeport, IL the son of Lewis and Georgia (Potts) Williams. He was married to Wanda M. Hudson. She preceded him in death on December 01, 2011.
David worked as a Quality Control Inspector for the Ford Motor Company in Chicago, IL. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
He is survived by a daughter-in-law: Carol Harsh and her husband of Chesterton, IN, a sister: Mattie Johnson of Lawrenceville, IL, and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 3:00pm at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 1:00 until 3:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home.
