Daniel Lee Shoulders

Daniel Lee Shoulders, age 67, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born on June 03, 1953 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Sylvester Beck and Wanda Louise (Cox) Shoulders. He married Sylvia Jane Nash on April 20, 1989 and she survives.

Daniel served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Victory Community Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, riding motorcycles and ATV’s, as well as NASCAR. He loved his children and grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Leroy Shoulders.

Survivors include his wife, Jane; three sons, Daniel J. Shoulders and wife, Traci, Justin T. Shoulders and wife, Ashleigh, and Cody A. Shoulders all of Vincennes, Indiana; two brothers, Robert Shoulders of Vincennes, Indiana and Terry Shoulders of Bridgeport, Illinois; five sisters, Sharon Kerschner and husband, Jerry of Bridgeport, Illinois, Shirley Koberstein and husband, Kenny of Princeton, Indiana, Becky Gann of Vincennes, Indiana, Susie Dowty and husband, Randy of Sumner, Illinois, and Anita Gerardi and husband, Tommy of Arizona; and eight grandchildren, Brendli Shoulders, Brissa Shoulders, Bella Shoulders, Beck Shoulders, Lylah Eagleson, Lilyann Shoulders, Payton Shoulders, and Emmalyn Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois, which may be viewed with the following link: https://www.facebook.com/Emmons-Macey-Steffey-Funeral-Home-Burial-Cremation-Services-241234759332208/. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
