Daniel B. Hellums

Daniel B. Hellums, 59, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.

He was born February 24, 1961 in Washington, Indiana, the son of Jack and Virginia “Susie” (Taylor) Hellums. On October 16, 1993 he married Lee Ann Lancaster and she survives.

Daniel worked at KCARC in Vincennes, Indiana for seven plus years. He was a member of the Sumner Congregational Christian Church in Sumner, Illinois. He enjoyed spending time with family, and playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Robert Lancaster.

Survivors include his wife, Lee Ann Hellums; mother-in-law, Lee Juana Lancaster; siblings, Bill and Susan Lancaster, Jonni Stephens, Bonnie and Quentin Hall, Connie and Jeff Jordan, and Kim and Ron Lynch; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled at this time. His wishes were to be cremated.

The Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
