Clarence Albert Reedy

Clarence Albert Reedy of Auburndale, Florida passed on September 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1941 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Clarence and Wanda (Kelly) Reedy.

He was the football coach at Lawrenceville High School in Lawrenceville, Illinois for 19 years, and was also a teacher. Coach C was inducted into the Illinois Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1992 and was honored three times as a member of the Lawrenceville High School Hall of Fame. Clarence also served in the United States Army. His greatest joy in life was coaching and attending Sprint car races.                                    

Clarence (Coach C) will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him. Our memories of him will hold strong forever in our hearts and minds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Wanda.

Clarence is survived by his loving wife, Susan of Auburndale, Florida; two sons Eric (Angela) of Riverview, Florida and Jade (Shelly) of Brazil, Indiana; one sister Donna Bault (Larry) of Terre Haute, Indiana; three grandsons, Easton of Auburndale, Florida and Jordan (Cheyenne) and Jeremy (Nicole) of Brazil, Indiana; three granddaughters, Elle of Auburndale, Florida, Kirsten of Hymera, Indiana, and Manuela of Bogota, Colombia; two great-grandsons, Oakley of Brazil, Indiana and Camdyn of Auburndale, Florida; one great-granddaughter, Effie of Brazil, Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was conducted in his home with his family and close friends. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the local arrangements.
