Brett McKim Obituary
Brett A. McKim, age 59, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born August 25, 1959 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of John R. and Barbara (McAdow) McKim.
Brett was the manager of McKims Food, Inc. His memberships included the Moose and the Elks. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed golfing, motorcycle riding, and watching NASCAR.
Preceding him in death was his father, John; uncle, Steve McAdow; and nephew, Chace Jarvis.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one daughter, Nicole McKim of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one sister, Stacy McKim of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one step-son, Stephen Murphy, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; one step-daughter, Tricia Martens of Evansville, Indiana; and two nephews, Josh Manley and Zach Manley.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the White House Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
