Bonnie Loudermilk Obituary

Bonnie L. Loudermilk, age 92, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born on March 09, 1930 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Gladys (Rowe) Shidler. She married George H. Loudermilk on December 16, 1950, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.

Bonnie taught school at Washington School, was a nursing home administrator, and a bookkeeper for Petrolia Water District. Her memberships included AARP-where she was the secretary, First United Methodist Church, and Ladies Auxiliary for the Texaco Employees. She volunteered at the Sign of the Kingdom.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and three brothers.

Survivors include one son, Larry Loudermilk and wife, Cathy of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two grandchildren, Chad Loudermilk and wife, Kourtney and Dustin Loudermilk and wife, Emily; and eight great-grandchildren, Zadyn, Emersyn, Bennett, Adelyn, Alaina, Maddison, Alexander, and Olivia.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
