Zerilda 'Zee' R. Grigsby Kepner

Zerilda ‘Zee' R. Grigsby Kepner, 90, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away September 5, 2018 at Heartland Manor Care in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born December 12, 1927 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Clyde and Carrie Hunnicutt. She was married to George ‘Vaughn' Grigsby and he passed away on April 10, 1987. She then married Les Kepner and he preceded her in death in 2003. Zee was a supervisor at the wire plant at George Field in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville and the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Lawrenceville. Preceding her in death were parents; husband, Vaughn; husband, Les; two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Rick Grigsby and his wife, Lori, of Chesterfield, Missouri and Joe Grigsby and his wife, Jan, of Leesburg, Florida; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at The Barn at Cocos in Lawrenceville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Zee's memory may be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center & Wig Shoppe. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the local arrangements.
