Yvonne Wright

Yvonne Wright, 93, of Lawrenceville passed away Saturday November 1, 2008 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.She was born January 7, 1915 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Byrl and Lodema (Scaggs) Meek. On October 18, 1930 she married James Wright Sr. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1994.She was Manager of The Three Sisters Sewing factory in Lawrenceville. She attended the Wesleyan Church 6th St. in Lawrenceville. She was a member of the Eagles Auxilary.She is survived by a son: James W. Wright Jr. of Champaign, IL, 2 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister are deceased.The funeral will be Thursday November 6, 2008 at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is also Thursday from 12:00 to the srevice hour of 1:00pm.Memorial donations may be given to the United Methodist Church North Campus Chapel Fund at 2101 james St. Lawrenceville, IL 62439.
