Winifred Spitzer

Winifred Spitzer, 95, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Saturday March 14, 2009 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.She was born May 9, 1913 in Jasper County, IL the daughter of Louis and Flavia (Adams) Spitzer.She worked as a bank teller at Peoples National Bank for approx. 50 years. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church.Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters.A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:45am at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home.Memorials may be given to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
