Wilma M. Rose, age 75, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away April 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born January 3, 1938, in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Max and Juanita (Sapp) Miller. She married Thomas J. Rose on December 14, 2000, and he survives.
Wilma worked at Lawrenceville Manor as a housekeeper. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Wilma enjoyed crafts and going to flea markets and thrift stores.
Preceding Wilma in death were her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Rose, of rural Lawrenceville; one step-son James Thomas Rose of Lawrenceville; two brothers, Don (Joyce) Miller of Vincennes, Indiana and Ronnie (Carolyn) Miller of Columbia, Missouri; one half-brother Mike Miller of Lawrenceville; two sisters Wanda Kline of Hammond, IN and Debra Frye of Olney, IL.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
