William W. Wimberly

William Wilson Wimberly, 79, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Thursday January 1, 2015 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. He was born April 13, 1935 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of Charles McKee and Aletha Wimberly. On March 23, 1957 he married Sharon Hale in Crown Point, IN. She survives. Bill was a retired Boilermaker. He had also worked for the Ford Motor Company, the Junior Toy Company and worked in the oil fields. Along with his wife, he is survived by a son: William E. Wimberly of Lawrenceville, IL, two daughters: Debra (husband Charles) Payne of Westphalia, IN, Cynthia (husbad Michael) Wirth of Bridgeport, IL, several brothers and sisters, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 until the service hour of 2:00pm. Burial will be at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
