William Scott Hartley

William Scott Hartley, 54, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1964 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Clinton Eugene and Brenda Ann (Rieches) Hartley. Scott worked as a mechanic. His memberships included Our Savior Lutheran Church, the Moose and the Eagles. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, wood working, and being outdoors. He served his country in the United States Army. Preceding him in death was his father. Survivors include his mother, Brenda of Lawrenceville, Illinois; significant other, Brenda Keneipp of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two sons, Brian Hartley of Bridgeport, Illinois and William Allen Hartley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Amber Hartley of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two brothers, Daniel Hartley of Danville, Illinois and Leonard Ray Hartley and wife, Lisa Jane, of Petrolia, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Shane Hartley and Elliott Hartley. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery with Military Rites. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
