William F. Dunlap

William F. Dunlap, age 77, of Allendale, IL passed away at his residence August 22, 2010. He was born March 11, 1933 in Crawford County, IL the son of Charles and Lillie (Snyder) Dunlap. He married Julia Judy Paul, August 6, 1956 and she passed away March 3, 1999.William was retired from Snap-On Tools where he worked in the plating department. He was a member of Adams Corner Church. He served in the Army during the Korean War. William was a member of the American Legion and the Masons in Allendale.William was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and one sister.Survivors include one son Chuck and Jada Dunlap of Allendale; four daughters Billie Wood and friend Terry Barber, Trudy and John Holsen all of Patton, IL, Lillie Wyatt and Beth Dunlap both of Allendale; one brother Wilbur Dunlap of Lawrenceville; five sisters Sarah Maus of Oblong, Mary Guess, Elizabeth Cooley, Mildred Hess, and June Johnson all of Robinson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, 1303-12th Street, Lawrenceville.Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00pm at the funeral home.Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
