Willia F. Jerrell

Willia F. Jerrell, age 63, of rural Sumner, IL passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born June 3, 1946 in Lawrence County, IL to Willis Elmer Cy and Lucy Jane (Byrley) Seifert. She married Vanis Earl J.R. Jerrell, Jr. January 21, 1966 and he died February 16, 1999. Willia worked in the welding department at ATS in Lawrenceville. She had also worked as a cook at the Red Hill 5th and 6th Grade School. Willia was affiliated with the Pinkstaff United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Eagles, Moose, and the American Legion. Willia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband J.R.; and one sister Marlene Dennison. Survivors include two daughters Regina (Zane) McCrary of Vincennes and Tina (Mark) Williams of Decker, IN; one brother Arthur Leroy Buddy Seifert of Afton, OK; one sister Shirley Shaffer of rural Lawrenceville; along with six grandchildren: Emily McCrary, Shane McCrary, Elizabeth Williams, Olivia Williams, Abigail Williams and Janie Adams.
