Warren D. Stout

Warren D. Stout, age 90, of Sumner, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on July 11, 1931 in Chauncey, Illinois, the son of Henry and Edna Mabel (Rigall) Stout. He married Shirley Ann Dart of Oblong on May 13, 1953, and she survives.

Warren was a lifelong farmer, and was named Conservationist of the Year by Lawrence County Farm Bureau. He loved bragging on his grandchildren, as well as visiting with other farmers and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother; and six sisters.

Survivors include four children, Debra Ann Pougas of Champaign, Illinois and husband, George of Athens, Greece, Diana Jean Mills and husband, Stanley of Sumner, Illinois, Judy Lynn Hentzell of Lafayette, Indiana, and Warren Dee Stout and wife, Stacey of Sumner, Illinois; one brother, Floyd Stout and wife, Betty of Hutsonville, Illinois; one sister, Ruth Waggoner of Vincennes, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM CDT at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Chauncey Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Christian Church of Bridgeport or Olney Assembly of God.
