Wanda Williams

Wanda M. Williams, age 89, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Thursday, December 01, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born December 15, 1921 in Hartford City, IN the daughter of Luther and Alice (Sharp) Hudson. She married David Clinton Williams and he survives. Wanda was a payroll clerk for a corrugated paper mill in Hartford City, IN. She was also a homemaker and loved crafts, crocheting, gardening and cooking. She was of the Christian faith. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, one son Jeffrey Lynne Williams, one brother, and one sister. Survivors include her husband David of Lawrenceville; daughter-in-law Carol Harsh of Chesterton, IN; one sister Mildred Crisman of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren Elizabeth Iris Williams of Chesteton, IN and Michael David Williams of South Bend, IN; Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with burial to follow in Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Veterans' Administration with envelopes available at the funeral home.
