Walter E. Tenney, age 58, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, March 03, 2020 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born on September 23, 1961 in Flora, Illinois, the son of Ray D. and Patricia (Shipley) Tenney.
Walter was a farmer and worked at AgriGold.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one niece; and one brother-in-law.
Survivors include two brothers, Donald Ray Tenney and Victor Lee Tenney; one sister, Teresa Ann Reed; seven nieces and nephews; and ten great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 05, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
