Virginia Mcfarland

Virginia McFarland, age 94, of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport. She was born August 29, 1920, in Gallatin, TN the daughter of Asbury Finley Cook and Nettie (Curl) Cook. She married Harold Fred McFarland on June 22, 1940 and he died March 6, 1991. Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of Lawrenceville Free Methodist Church, Home Extension and the American Legion Auxiliary. Preceding Virginia in death were her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Tad (Rhonda) McFarland of West Plains, Missouri and Pat (Sherry) McFarland of rural Lawrenceville; one daughter Sue (Hayward) Seber of rural Lawrenceville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
