Virginia I. Cummins

Virginia I. Cummins, 80, of Ft. Meyers, FL (fomerly of Lawrenceville)  passed away Friday October 24, 2008 at Hope Hospice and Health Park in Ft. Meyers, Fl.She was born July 10, 1928 in Crawford County, IL. She was the daughter of Franklin and Velma (Spade) Tredway. On September 16, 1943 she married Paul Eugene Cummins. He passed away January 19, 1991.She had worked at the Health Candy Company in Robinson and Lawrenceville Industries. She was an avid camper.She is survived by 2 daughters: Diana and David Linton of Ft. Meyers, FL, Vaunie and Dean Hamilton of North Port, FL, 3 sisters: Doris Sanders of Lawrenceville, IL, Laura Bell of Flat Rock, IL, Betty Shelton of Flat Rock, IL, 4 grandchildren: Jeff and Loretta Smith, Michael and Amy Linton, Tiffany Moore, and Bryan and Rachel Hamilton, and 7 great-grandchildren. One great-grandson is deceased.There will be a Graveside Service Saturday at 11:00am at the Derr Cemetery. There is no visitation.
