Virginia Alice Bach

Virginia Alice Satterfield Bach age 87 of rural Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 28, 1927, in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer A Satterfield and Edith A. Parish Satterfield. She married George E. Bach, on June 16, 1957 and he preceded her in death February 03, 2012. Virginia was a homemaker. She was a member of West Bond Home Extension, Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, and Ladies Fellowship. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one son Philip Greene, two grandsons, Cory and Tony Greene; one great-grandson Asher Fish and one brother Stanley Satterfield. Survivors include one son Matthew (Susan) Bach of rural Lawrenceville; three daughters Debra ( Philip) Fish of rural Lawrenceville, A. Joanne Greene of Kentland, In., Louie (Charlie) Ferguson of Flat Rock, Il.; a brother Robert Satterfield of Lawrenceville, and 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church. Visitation will be Tuesday 10:30am until the service hour of 1:00p.m. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Building Fund.
