Veronica K. Ralston

Veronica K. Ralston, 42, of Bridgeport passed away March 15, 2010 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. She was born December 31, 1967 in Rantoul, IL the daughter of Richard L. Daniels and Nina (Montgomery) Baetke. She married Danny R. Ralston February 29, 2000.Veronica was a member of the 4th Street Wesleyan Church in Lawrenceville. She worked at Hamilton Glass and was an EMT for the Knox County Ambulance Service. She was also a homemaker.Veronica was preceded in death by her father Richard and one step-son Jeremy.Survivors include her husband Danny Ralston of Bridgeport; her mother Nina (Montgomery) Baetke of Princeton, IA; one son Brandon Moore of Bridgeport; one step-son Danny (Anastasia) Ralston of Lawrenceville; one step-daughter Shellie (Trent) Masterson of rural Bridgeport; one step-brother Brad Baetke of Colorado; two half-sisters Elizabeth Mendola of Chandler, AZ and Lysa Baetke of Bridgeport; two step-sisters Marci Hamilton of Eldridge, IA and Robin Baetke of Colorado; step-grandmother Ruth Huerer of Princeton, IA; one grandchild Geovanni Ralston and two step-grandchildren Elijah and Grace Masterson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Saturday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.Burial will follow in the Pollard Cemetery.Friends may call Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 pm at the funeral home.
