Vanessa M. Wells

Vanessa M. Wells, age 34, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Thursday evening at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born March 08, 1982 in London, England the daughter of Neal and Roxana Lopez Chaplin. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, basketball, and reading. Most of all she loved and enjoyed her children Kylar and Delilah. Preceding her in death was her father Neal Chaplin, one sister Heather Chaplin, paternal grandmother Barbara Chaplin, maternal grandmother Juana Lopez. Survivors include her two daughters: Kylar Worstell and her parents Bron and Rita Worstell of Lawrenceville, Il., Delilah Wells and her father Brant of Bridgeport, Il, her mother Roxana Chaplin and fiancee' Delvin Cessna of Lawrenceville, IL, one sister Danielle Chaplin of Lawrenceville, IL, one little brother Ocean Cessna, Paternal grandfather Otis Chaplin of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Maternal grandfather Juan Lopez of Jacksonville, FL, Aunt Maria and Frank Davis, and Uncle Tony Lopez all of Jacksonville, FL, Uncle Mark and Ruth Chaplin of Belle Fourche, SD, and Aunt Teresa and Jim Crotty of Chicago, IL. Memorial services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will also be Thursday from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00pm.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery south of Claremont, Il. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for final expenses.
