Trudy Tester

Trudy J. Tester, 49, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 17, 1967 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Bonita (Burrell) Shidler and Larry Moffitt. Trudy worked at Good Samaritan Hospital as the Surgery Unit Scheduler prior to her disability. Preceding her in death was her step-father, John Shidler. Survivors include her mother, Bonita Shidler of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her father, Larry Moffitt of Branson, Missouri; two sons, Nathaniel Crawford of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Brady Tester and Sami Hatfield of Lawrenceville, Illinois; Fiancé Andrew Cheney of Lawrenceville, Illinois; a brother, Tony Moffitt of Lakeland Florida; a half-sister, Whitney Moffitt of Orange, California; and a grandson, Caspian Tester. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 23 at 11:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the May Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations in Trudy's memory may be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center and Wig Shoppe or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
