Timothy Paul York

Timothy Paul York, age 65, of St. Francisville, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2025. He was born March 22, 1960 in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was the son of Paul “Rudy” and Geraldine “Gerry” York. Tim graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1978. He entered the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #136 apprenticeship program following high school graduation and worked until retiring in 2015. Welding was his preferred job in which he became very accomplished. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating on the Wabash River. Preceding Tim in death were his parents, brother, Tom, and nephew, Jarrad Stout. Survivors include his sister, Becky (Danny) Stout of Sumner, Illinois; nephew, Jeremie (Jessica Scott) Stout of New Baden, Illinois; niece, Jami Hedrick of Kevil, Kentucky; great-nephews, Nicholas Scott of New Baden, Illinois, Jesse (Paige) Hedrick of Witcliff, Kentucky, Mason Hedrick of La Center, Kentucky; and great-niece, Mackenzie Hedrick of La Center, Kentucky. Graveside services will be Monday, April 28, at 3:00 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in St. Francisville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jarrad Stout Scholarship Fund. There will be no public visitation.
