Timothy J. Collins

Timothy J. Collins, age 57, of Flat Rock, Illinois passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Illinois. He was born July 30, 1961 in Nash County, North Carolina, the son of Willie G. Collins and Maggie Mae (Narron) O'Haver. Timothy did small engine repairs prior to his disability. He enjoyed fishing, as well as working on cars and small engines. His CB handle was ‘Tin Man'. Preceding him in death his father and one sister, Cindy Westhafer. Survivors include his mother, Maggie O'Haver and husband, Donald, of Vincennes, Indiana; two sons, Chris Collins and wife, Erica, of Mitchell, Indiana and Tim Collins and wife, Jessica, of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Dawn Collins and James Cole of Hinesville, Georgia; two brothers, Willie Collins, Jr. and John Collins; two sisters, Rhonda Stevens and Teresa Hoskins and husband, Glenn; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The body will be cremated and no formal services will be conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
