Thelma Irene Kiser, 80, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away November 26, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.Born November 28, 1928 in Lawrence County, IL she was the daughter of William David Jackman and Florence Gola (Marks) Jackman. She married LaVern Arthur Kiser who preceded her in death May 5, 1996.Thelma was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Bridgeport, IL.Survivors include seven sons James and Suzanne Kiser of rural Bridgeport, William and Sandy Kiser of Lawrenceville, Robert and Carol Kiser of Scottsburg, IN, Richard and Rannie Kiser of rural Lawrenceville, Kenneth Kiser of Lancaster, IL, Roger and Pam Kiser and Lewis and Lisa Kiser, all of Lawrenceville, IL; three daughters Becky Kiser of Olney, IL, Janet and Jerry Botkin of Geff, IL; Judy and Paul Kopp of Vincennes, IN; one brother Harold R. Jackman of rural Sumner, IL; two sisters Dorothy Jean Askren and Hester L. Walls both of Lawrenceville, IL; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.The funeral will be 2:00 pm wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
