Teresa Yarber

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Yarber, aged 55, on

January 5, 2025. A cherished daughter, cousin, and friend, Teresa touched the hearts of all who knew her with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering kindness.

Teresa shared a deep and special bond with her beloved dog, Lilly, who was her constant companion and greatest joy. Their unconditional love for one another will forever serve as a testament to Teresa’s gentle and loving spirit.

Known for her generous heart and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, Teresa found joy in bingo, arts and crafts, and sharing laughter with friends, family, and her caregivers. Her radiant personality and caring nature left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Teresa is survived by her Uncle Phillip Weirich, as well as many cousins and extended family members, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Larry and Philinda ‘Linda’ (Weirich) Yarber.

A graveside service to celebrate Teresa’s life will be conducted Monday, June 23rd at 11:00 am at May Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses/monument fee.
