Sue Ann Sweeten

Sue Ann Sweeten, age 80, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Lodge of the Wabash in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on March 05, 1942 in Robinson, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Leah Ruth (Paskins) Frost. She married James T. Sweeten, Sr. on April 27, 1962, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2015.

Sue was a 1960 graduate of Robinson High School, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her pets, as well as taking her dog for walks.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and one brother, Virgil Frost.

Survivors include her three children, James ‘Jimmy’ Sweeten, Jr. and wife, Dana of Vincennes, Indiana, Jeff Sweeten and wife, Angie of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Beth Onstott and husband, Troy of Camdenton, Missouri; one sister, Erma Edie and husband, Don of Waynesville, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
